Colossians 3:2-11
New American Standard Bible 1995
2 [a](A)Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have (B)died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, (C)who is our life, is revealed, (D)then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
5 (E)Therefore [b]consider (F)the members of your earthly body as dead to [c](G)immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which [d]amounts to idolatry. 6 For it is because of these things that (H)the wrath of God will come [e]upon the sons of disobedience, 7 and (I)in them you also once walked, when you were living [f]in them. 8 But now you also, (J)put them all aside: (K)anger, wrath, malice, slander, and (L)abusive speech from your mouth. 9 [g](M)Do not lie to one another, since you (N)laid aside the old [h]self with its evil practices, 10 and have (O)put on the new self who is being [i](P)renewed to a true knowledge (Q)according to the image of the One who (R)created him— 11 a renewal in which (S)there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, (T)circumcised and uncircumcised, [j](U)barbarian, Scythian, (V)slave and freeman, but (W)Christ is all, and in all.
