Colossians 2:4-8
Christian Standard Bible
Christ versus the Colossian Heresy
4 I am saying this so that no one will deceive you with arguments that sound reasonable. 5 For I may be absent in body, but I am with you in spirit,(A) rejoicing to see how well ordered you are and the strength of your faith in Christ.
6 So then, just as you have received(B) Christ Jesus as Lord,(C) continue to walk in him, 7 being rooted and built up in him(D) and established in the faith, just as you were taught,(E) and overflowing with gratitude.
8 Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition,(F) based on the elements of the world, rather than Christ.(G)

Colossians 2:4-8
New International Version
4 I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.(A) 5 For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit(B) and delight to see how disciplined(C) you are and how firm(D) your faith in Christ(E) is.
Spiritual Fullness in Christ
6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,(F) continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted(G) and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught,(H) and overflowing with thankfulness.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy,(I) which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces[a] of this world(J) rather than on Christ.
