¹³ And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has resurrected together with Him, having forgiven you all sins.

¹⁰ By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹¹ But every priest stands daily ministering and repetitively offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God. ¹³ Since that time He has been waiting for His enemies to be made His footstool. ¹⁴ For by one offering He has forever perfected those who are sanctified.

¹⁵ The Holy Spirit also witnesses to us about this. For after saying,

¹⁷ then He adds,

¹⁸ Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

Exhortation and Warning

¹⁹ Therefore, brothers, we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ by a new and living way that He has opened for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh,

⁶ Even David describes the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness without works:

⁹ Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? We are saying that faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness.
