^15 [a]He is the ^(A)image of the ^(B)invisible God, the ^(C)firstborn of all creation: ¹⁶ for ^[b](D)by Him all things were created, ^(E)both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether ^(F)thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—^(G)all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ He ^[c](H)is before all things, and in Him all things ^[d]hold together. ¹⁸ He is also the ^(I)head of ^(J)the body, the church; and He is ^(K)the beginning, ^(L)the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. ¹⁹ For ^[e]it was ^(M)the Father’s good pleasure for all ^(N)the ^[f]fullness to dwell in Him,

²⁷ “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, ^(A)heaven and the ^[a]highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built!

²⁰ Now the Lord has fulfilled His word which He spoke; for ^(A)I have risen in place of my father David and I sit on the throne of Israel, just as the Lord ^[a]promised, and I have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.

⁴⁶ These will go away into ^(A)eternal punishment, but the righteous into ^(B)eternal life.”

^9 (A)For this reason also God ^(B)highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him ^(C)the name which is above every name, ¹⁰ so that at the name of Jesus ^(D)every knee will bow, of ^(E)those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

²¹ For they all ^(A)seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus. ²² But you know ^(B)of his proven character, that ^(C)he served with me in the furtherance of the gospel ^(D)like a child serving his father. ^23 (E)Therefore I hope to send him immediately, as soon as I see how things go with me;

²⁸ and I give them ^(A)eternal life, and they will never perish; and ^(B)no one will snatch them out of My hand.
