^12 (A)giving thanks^[a] to the Father, who has qualified you^[b] to share in ^(B)the inheritance of the saints in light.

¹⁷ And ^(A)whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)giving thanks to God the Father through him.

^10 (A)He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. ^(B)On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. ^11 (C)You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf ^(D)for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.

¹⁸ And ^(A)do not get drunk with wine, for that is ^(B)debauchery, but ^(C)be filled with the Spirit, ¹⁹ addressing one another in ^(D)psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, ^20 (E)giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father ^(F)in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

^6 (A)do not be anxious about anything, ^(B)but in everything by prayer and supplication ^(C)with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

^16 (A)Rejoice always, ^17 (B)pray without ceasing, ^18 (C)give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
