2 I want their hearts to be encouraged(A) and joined together in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery(B)—Christ.[a](C) 3 All the treasures of wisdom(D) and knowledge(E) are hidden in Him.
Christ versus the Colossian Heresy
4 I am saying this so that no one will deceive you with persuasive arguments. 5 For I may be absent in body, but I am with you in spirit,(F) rejoicing to see how well ordered you are and the strength of your faith in Christ.
6 Therefore, as you have received(G) Christ Jesus the Lord,(H) walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him(I) and established in the faith, just as you were taught,(J) overflowing with gratitude.

2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart(A) and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery(B) of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.(C) 4 I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.(D) 5 For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit(E) and delight to see how disciplined(F) you are and how firm(G) your faith in Christ(H) is.
Spiritual Fullness in Christ
6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,(I) continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted(J) and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught,(K) and overflowing with thankfulness.
