^10 (A)Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, with ^(B)Mark the cousin of Barnabas (about whom you received instructions: if he comes to you, welcome him),

¹¹ Only Luke is with me. Get ^(A)Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.

²⁹ So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having seized ^(A)Gaius and ^(B)Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions.

²⁴ as do ^(A)Mark, ^(B)Aristarchus, ^(C)Demas, ^(D)Luke, my fellow laborers.

² So, entering a ship of Adramyttium, we put to sea, meaning to sail along the coasts of Asia. ^(A)Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, was with us.

⁴ And Sopater of Berea accompanied him to Asia—also ^(A)Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians, and ^(B)Gaius of Derbe, and ^(C)Timothy, and ^(D)Tychicus and ^(E)Trophimus of Asia.

³⁷ Now Barnabas ^[a]was determined to take with them ^(A)John called Mark. ³⁸ But Paul insisted that they should not take with them ^(B)the one who had departed from them in Pamphylia, and had not gone with them to the work. ³⁹ Then the contention became so sharp that they parted from one another. And so Barnabas took Mark and sailed to ^(C)Cyprus;

¹² So, when he had considered this, ^(A)he came to the house of Mary, the mother of ^(B)John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together ^(C)praying.

¹³ She who is in Babylon, elect together with you, greets you; and so does ^(A)Mark my son.
