²⁴ knowing that from the Lord ^(A)you will receive the inheritance as your reward. ^(B)You are serving the Lord Christ.

^8 (A)knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, ^(B)whether he is a bondservant or is free.

¹⁴ and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid ^(A)at ^(B)the resurrection of the just.”

²² For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is ^(A)a freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is ^(B)a bondservant of Christ.

⁶ not by the way of eye-service, as ^(A)people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

¹⁰ For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying ^(A)to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a ^(B)servant^[a] of Christ.

³² And now ^(A)I commend you to God and to ^(B)the word of his grace, which is able to ^(C)build you up and to give you ^(D)the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

⁶ And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God ^(A)must believe that he exists and ^(B)that he rewards those who seek him.

³⁵ Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has ^(A)a great reward.

^46 (A)For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
