²⁵ of which I became a minister according to ^(A)the ^[a]stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

² if indeed you have heard of the ^[a]dispensation of the grace of God ^(A)which was given to me for you,

²³ if indeed you continue ^(A)in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are ^(B)not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, ^(C)which was preached to every creature under heaven, ^(D)of which I, Paul, became a minister.

² Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. ^(A)Convince, ^(B)rebuke, ^(C)exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. ^3 (D)For the time will come when they will not endure ^(E)sound doctrine, ^(F)but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; ⁴ and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and ^(G)be turned aside to fables. ⁵ But you be watchful in all things, ^(H)endure afflictions, do the work of ^(I)an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

⁷ But on the contrary, ^(A)when they saw that the gospel for the uncircumcised ^(B)had been committed to me, as the gospel for the circumcised was to Peter ⁸ (for He who worked effectively in Peter for the apostleship to the ^(C)circumcised ^(D)also ^(E)worked effectively in me toward the Gentiles),

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

⁶ If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, ^(A)nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.

² and sent ^(A)Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith,

¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, ^(A)because of the grace given to me by God, ¹⁶ that ^(B)I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the ^(C)offering ^[a]of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus ^(D)in the things which pertain to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things ^(E)which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, ^(F)to make the Gentiles obedient— ^19 (G)in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

¹⁷ For if I do this willingly, ^(A)I have a reward; but if against my will, ^(B)I have been entrusted with a stewardship.
