²³ if you continue^(A) in your faith, established^(B) and firm, and do not move from the hope^(C) held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven,^(D) and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.^(E)

¹⁴ We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold^(A) our original conviction firmly to the very end.^(B)

⁶ But Christ is faithful as the Son^(A) over God’s house. And we are his house,^(B) if indeed we hold firmly^(C) to our confidence and the hope^(D) in which we glory.

¹³ but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.^{(A) 14} And this gospel of the kingdom^(B) will be preached in the whole world^(C) as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

³⁸ And,

⁹ Let us not become weary in doing good,^(A) for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.^(B)

¹⁷ so that Christ may dwell in your hearts^(A) through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted^(B) and established in love,

⁵ the faith and love that spring from the hope^(A) stored up for you in heaven^(B) and about which you have already heard in the true message^(C) of the gospel ⁶ that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit^(D) and growing throughout the whole world^(E)—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.

²² strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.^(A) “We must go through many hardships^(B) to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.
