6 ¿Adónde se ha ido tu amante,
oh mujer de singular belleza?
Dinos por cuál camino se fue
para ayudarte a encontrarlo.

2 Mi amante ha bajado a su jardín,
a sus lechos de especias,
para pasear por los jardines
y juntar los lirios.
3 Yo soy de mi amante, y mi amante es mío.

5 Turn your eyes from me;
they overwhelm me.

coming up from the washing.
Each has its twin,

the only daughter of her mother,

majestic as the stars in procession?

11 I went down to the grove of nut trees
to look at the new growth in the valley,
to see if the vines had budded
or the pomegranates were in bloom.(T)

my desire set me among the royal chariots of my people.[a]
