4 Quão bela é você, amada minha,
realmente muito bela.
Os seus olhos parecem duas pombas
por trás do véu.
O seu cabelo é comprido e ondulado;
cai como um rebanho de cabras
que descem pelos montes de Gileade.
2 Os seus dentes são brancos, como ovelhas tosquiadas
que acabaram de tomar banho.
Todas têm gêmeos,
não falta nenhuma.
3 Os seus lábios e a sua boca são lindos,
como um fio de cor vermelha.
As suas faces, debaixo do seu véu,
parecem pedaços de romã.
4 O seu pescoço mantém a cabeça erguida,
é como a torre de Davi, feita para guardar o armamento.
Na sua cabeça são pendurados
mil escudos de corajosos soldados.
5 Os seus seios são como dois cervos gêmeos
que se alimentam entre as flores da primavera.
6 Subirei nessas montanhas perfumadas
de incenso e mirra
enquanto o dia continuar respirando o vento fresco
e as sombras forem aumentando[a].
7 Amada minha, tudo em você é lindo!
Você não tem defeito algum.
8 Venha comigo, noiva minha,
desça comigo do Líbano.
Desça depressa do alto do Amana[b],
do topo do Senir[c] e do Hermom,
das covas dos leões,
do monte dos leopardos.
9 Amada minha, você roubou o meu coração;
roubou o meu coração com um só dos seus olhares,
com uma só pérola do seu colar.
10 Amada minha,[d] o seu amor é maravilloso!
É mais doce do que o vinho.
O aroma da sua pele é muito melhor
do que o aroma que qualquer outra fragância possa ter!
11 Noiva minha, seus lábios sabem a mel;
há leite e mel debaixo da sua língua.
E a fragância da sua roupa
é tão doce e fresca[e]!
12 Amada minha, noiva minha,
você é tão pura como um jardim

13 O seu corpo é como um jardim cheio de romãs,
que dão o seu melhor fruto,
