32 Vrhovni je glavar Levita bio Eleazar, sin svećenika Arona. Bio je određen da nadgleda one koji su obavljali dužnosti vezane uz Svetište.
33 Merariju su pripadali rodovi Mahlijaca i Mušijaca. Bili su to rodovi Merarijevaca. 34 Broj je svih njihovih prebrojanih muških od jednog mjeseca i starijih iznosio 6.200.

32 The chief leader of the Levites was Eleazar(A) son of Aaron, the priest. He was appointed over those who were responsible(B) for the care of the sanctuary.(C)
33 To Merari belonged the clans of the Mahlites and the Mushites;(D) these were the Merarite clans.(E) 34 The number of all the males a month old or more(F) who were counted was 6,200.
