Genesis 42:15-17
New International Version
15 And this is how you will be tested: As surely as Pharaoh lives,(A) you will not leave this place unless your youngest brother comes here.(B) 16 Send one of your number to get your brother;(C) the rest of you will be kept in prison,(D) so that your words may be tested to see if you are telling the truth.(E) If you are not, then as surely as Pharaoh lives, you are spies!(F)” 17 And he put them all in custody(G) for three days.

15 In this manner you shall be tested: (A)By the life of Pharaoh, you shall not leave this place unless your youngest brother comes here. 16 Send one of you, and let him bring your brother; and you shall be [a]kept in prison, that your words may be tested to see whether there is any truth in you; or else, by the life of Pharaoh, surely you are spies!” 17 So he [b]put them all together in prison (B)three days.
