Ang Dating Biblia (1905)

126 Nang dalhin muli ng Panginoon yaong nangagbalik sa Sion, tayo ay gaya niyaong nangananaginip.

2 Nang magkagayo'y napuno ang bibig natin ng pagtawa, at ang dila natin ng awit: nang magkagayo'y sinabi nila sa gitna ng mga bansa, Ginawan sila ng Panginoon ng mga dakilang bagay.

3 Ginawan tayo ng Panginoon ng mga dakilang bagay; na siyang ating ikinatutuwa.

4 Papanumbalikin mo uli ang aming nangabihag, Oh Panginoon, na gaya ng mga batis sa Timugan.

5 Sila na nagsisipaghasik na may luha ay magsisiani na may kagalakan.

6 Siyang lumalabas at umiiyak, na nagdadala ng binhing itatanim; siya'y di sasalang babalik na may kagalakan, na dala ang kaniyang mga tangkas.

(1) When Adonai restored Tziyon’s fortunes,
we thought we were dreaming.
2 Our mouths were full of laughter,
and our tongues shouted for joy.

Among the nations it was said,
“Adonai has done great things for them!”
3 Adonai did do great things with us;
and we are overjoyed.

4 Return our people from exile, Adonai,
as streams fill vadis in the Negev.

5 Those who sow in tears
will reap with cries of joy.
6 He who goes out weeping
as he carries his sack of seed
will come home with cries of joy
as he carries his sheaves of grain.

Psalm 126

A song of ascents.

1 When the Lord restored(A) the fortunes of[a] Zion,
    we were like those who dreamed.[b]
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,(B)
    our tongues with songs of joy.(C)
Then it was said among the nations,
    “The Lord has done great things(D) for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things(E) for us,
    and we are filled with joy.(F)

4 Restore our fortunes,[c](G) Lord,
    like streams in the Negev.(H)
5 Those who sow with tears(I)
    will reap(J) with songs of joy.(K)
6 Those who go out weeping,(L)
    carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with them.
