3 Or Pietro e Giovanni salivano insieme al tempio verso l'ora nona, l'ora della preghiera.
2 E vi era un uomo zoppo fin dalla nascita, che veniva ogni giorno portato e deposto presso la porta del tempio, detta Bella, per chiedere l'elemosina a coloro che entravano nel tempio.
3 Costui, avendo visto Pietro e Giovanni che stavano per entrare nel tempio, chiese loro l'elemosina.

3 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
