7 Después de esto vi a cuatro ángeles que estaban de pie sobre los cuatro extremos de la tierra. Estos ángeles impedían que los cuatro vientos(A) de la tierra soplaran sobre la tierra o sobre el mar, o sobre todo árbol. 2 También vi que otro ángel venía por donde sale el sol. Tenía el sello del Dios vivo, y con grandes voces llamaba a los cuatro ángeles, los cuales habían recibido el poder de dañar a la tierra y al mar. 3 Les dijo: «No dañen a la tierra, ni al mar ni a los árboles, hasta que a los siervos de nuestro Dios les hayamos puesto un sello en la frente.»(B) 4 Pude oír que el número de los que fueron sellados era de ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil, tomados de entre todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel:
5 Doce mil de la tribu de Judá,
doce mil de la tribu de Rubén,
doce mil de la tribu de Gad,
6 doce mil de la tribu de Aser,
doce mil de la tribu de Neftalí,
doce mil de la tribu de Manasés,
7 doce mil de la tribu de Simeón,
doce mil de la tribu de Leví,
doce mil de la tribu de Isacar,
8 doce mil de la tribu de Zabulón,
doce mil de la tribu de José,
doce mil de la tribu de Benjamín.
La multitud vestida de ropas blancas
9 Después de esto vi aparecer una gran multitud compuesta de todas las naciones, tribus, pueblos y lenguas. Era imposible saber su número. Estaban de pie ante el trono, en presencia del Cordero, y vestían ropas blancas; en sus manos llevaban ramas de palma, 10 y a grandes voces gritaban: «La salvación proviene de nuestro Dios, que está sentado en el trono, y del Cordero.» 11 Todos los ángeles estaban de pie, alrededor del trono y de los ancianos y de los cuatro seres vivientes, y delante del trono inclinaron el rostro y adoraron a Dios. 12 Decían: «¡Amén! A nuestro Dios sean dadas la bendición y la gloria, la sabiduría y la acción de gracias, y la honra, el poder y la fortaleza, por los siglos de los siglos. ¡Amén!»
13 Entonces uno de los ancianos me dijo: «Y estos que están vestidos de ropas blancas, ¿quiénes son? ¿De dónde vienen?» 14 Yo le respondí: «Señor, tú lo sabes.» Entonces él me dijo: «Éstos han salido de la gran tribulación.(C) Son los que han lavado y emblanquecido sus ropas en la sangre del Cordero. 15 Por eso están delante del trono de Dios, y le rinden culto en su templo de día y de noche; y el que está sentado en el trono los protege con su presencia. 16 No volverán a tener hambre ni sed, ni les hará daño el sol ni el calor los molestará,(D) 17 porque el Cordero que está en medio del trono los pastoreará(E) y los llevará a fuentes de agua de vida,(F) y Dios mismo secará de sus ojos toda lágrima.»(G)

7 Después de esto vi a cuatro ángeles en los cuatro ángulos de la tierra. Estaban allí de pie, deteniendo los cuatro vientos para que estos no soplaran sobre la tierra, el mar y los árboles. 2 Vi también a otro ángel que venía del oriente con el sello del Dios vivo. Gritó con voz potente a los cuatro ángeles a quienes se les había permitido hacer daño a la tierra y al mar: 3 «¡No hagan daño ni a la tierra ni al mar ni a los árboles, hasta que hayamos puesto un sello en la frente de los siervos de nuestro Dios!». 4 Y oí el número de los que fueron sellados: ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil de todas las tribus de Israel.
5 De la tribu de Judá fueron sellados doce mil;
de la tribu de Rubén, doce mil;
de la tribu de Gad, doce mil;
6 de la tribu de Aser, doce mil;
de la tribu de Neftalí, doce mil;
de la tribu de Manasés, doce mil;
7 de la tribu de Simeón, doce mil;
de la tribu de Leví, doce mil;
de la tribu de Isacar, doce mil;
8 de la tribu de Zabulón, doce mil;

La gran multitud con túnicas blancas
9 Después de esto miré y apareció una multitud tomada de todas las naciones, tribus, pueblos y lenguas; era tan grande que nadie podía contarla. Estaban de pie delante del trono y del Cordero, vestidos de ropas blancas y con ramas de palma en la mano. 10 Proclamaban a gran voz:
«¡La salvación viene de nuestro Dios
que está sentado en el trono
y del Cordero!».
11 Todos los ángeles estaban de pie alrededor del trono, de los ancianos y de los cuatro seres vivientes. Se postraron rostro en tierra delante del trono y adoraron a Dios 12 diciendo:
«¡Amén!
La alabanza, la gloria,
la sabiduría, la acción de gracias,
la honra, el poder y la fortaleza
son de nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos.
¡Amén!».
13 Entonces uno de los ancianos me preguntó:
—Esos que están vestidos de blanco, ¿quiénes son y de dónde vienen?
14 —Eso tú lo sabes, mi señor —respondí.
Él me dijo:
—Aquellos son los que están saliendo de la gran tribulación;
han lavado y blanqueado sus túnicas en la sangre del Cordero.
15 Por eso están delante del trono de Dios,
y día y noche le sirven en su templo;
el que está sentado en el trono
les dará refugio con su presencia.[a]
16 Ya no sufrirán hambre ni sed.
No los abatirá el sol ni ningún calor abrasador.
17 Porque el Cordero que está en el trono los gobernará
y los guiará a fuentes de agua viva,
y Dios enjugará toda lágrima de sus ojos.

7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners(A) of the earth, holding back the four winds(B) of the earth to prevent(C) any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal(D) of the living God.(E) He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:(F) 3 “Do not harm(G) the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads(H) of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number(I) of those who were sealed: 144,000(J) from all the tribes of Israel.
5 From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,
from the tribe of Gad 12,000,
6 from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,
from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,
7 from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,
from the tribe of Levi 12,000,
from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,
8 from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,
from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,
from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.
The Great Multitude in White Robes
9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language,(K) standing before the throne(L) and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes(M) and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders(P) and the four living creatures.(Q) They fell down on their faces(R) before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:
“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”(S)
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes(T)—who are they, and where did they come from?”
14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes(U) and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.(V) 15 Therefore,
“they are before the throne of God(W)
and serve him(X) day and night in his temple;(Y)
and he who sits on the throne(Z)
will shelter them with his presence.(AA)
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.(AB)
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
nor any scorching heat.(AC)
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;(AD)
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b](AE)
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]”(AF)

2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.

9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
