7 Después de esto vi a cuatro ángeles en pie sobre los cuatro ángulos de la tierra, que detenían los cuatro vientos de la tierra, para que no soplase viento alguno sobre la tierra, ni sobre el mar, ni sobre ningún árbol.
2 Vi también a otro ángel que subía de donde sale el sol, y tenía el sello del Dios vivo; y clamó a gran voz a los cuatro ángeles, a quienes se les había concedido el hacer daño a la tierra y al mar,
3 diciendo: No hagáis daño a la tierra, ni al mar, ni a los árboles, hasta que hayamos sellado en sus frentes a los siervos de nuestro Dios.
4 Y oí el número de los sellados: ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil sellados de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
5 De la tribu de Judá, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Rubén, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Gad, doce mil sellados.
6 De la tribu de Aser, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Neftalí, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Manasés, doce mil sellados.
7 De la tribu de Simeón, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Leví, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Isacar, doce mil sellados.
8 De la tribu de Zabulón, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de José, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Benjamín, doce mil sellados.
La multitud vestida de ropas blancas
9 Después de esto miré, y vi una gran multitud, la cual nadie podía contar, de todas naciones, tribus, pueblos y lenguas, que estaban de pie delante del trono y en la presencia del Cordero, cubiertos de ropas blancas, y con palmas en las manos;
10 y clamaban a gran voz, diciendo: La salvación pertenece a nuestro Dios que está sentado en el trono, y al Cordero.
11 Y todos los ángeles estaban en pie alrededor del trono, y de los ancianos y de los cuatro seres vivientes; y se postraron sobre sus rostros delante del trono, y adoraron a Dios,
12 diciendo: Amén. La bendición, la gloria, la sabiduría, la acción de gracias, el honor, el poder y la fortaleza, sean a nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
13 Entonces uno de los ancianos tomó la palabra, diciéndome: Estos que están cubiertos de ropas blancas, ¿quiénes son, y de dónde han venido?
14 Yo le dije: Señor, tú lo sabes. Y él me dijo: Éstos son los que han venido procedentes de la gran tribulación, y han lavado sus ropas, y las han emblanquecido en la sangre del Cordero.
15 Por eso están delante del trono de Dios, y le sirven día y noche en su santuario; y el que está sentado sobre el trono extenderá su tabernáculo sobre ellos.
16 Ya no tendrán hambre ni sed, y el sol no caerá más sobre ellos, ni ardor alguno;
17 porque el Cordero que está en medio del trono los pastoreará, y los guiará a fuentes de aguas de vida; y Dios enjugará toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos.

The 144,000 of Israel Sealed
7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back (A)the four winds of the earth, (B)that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel ascending (C)from the rising of the sun, with (D)the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea, 3 saying, (E)“Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants[a] of our God (F)on their foreheads.” 4 And (G)I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
5 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed,
12,000 from the tribe of Reuben,
12,000 from the tribe of Gad,
6 12,000 from the tribe of Asher,
12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali,
12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,
7 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon,
12,000 from the tribe of Levi,
12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,
8 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun,
12,000 from the tribe of Joseph,
12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.
A Great Multitude from Every Nation
9 After this I looked, and behold, (H)a great multitude that no one could number, (I)from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, (J)clothed in white robes, with (K)palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, (L)“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels were standing round the throne and round the elders and (M)the four living creatures, and they (N)fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God, 12 (O)saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and might be to our God for ever and ever! Amen.”
13 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, (P)clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” 14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of (Q)the great tribulation. (R)They have washed their robes and (S)made them white (T)in the blood of the Lamb.
15 “Therefore they are before the throne of God,
and (U)serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne (V)will shelter them with his presence.
16 (W)They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more;
(X)the sun shall not strike them,
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne (Y)will be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of (Z)living water,
and (AA)God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
