El río de la vida y el árbol de la vida
22 Después el ángel me mostró(A) un río(B) de agua de vida(C), resplandeciente como cristal(D), que salía del trono de Dios y del Cordero, 2 en medio de la calle de la ciudad[a](E). Y a cada lado(F) del río estaba el árbol de la vida(G), que produce doce clases de fruto, dando su fruto cada mes; y las hojas del árbol(H) eran para sanidad de las naciones. 3 Ya no habrá más maldición(I). El trono de Dios y del Cordero(J) estará allí[b], y Sus siervos le servirán(K). 4 Ellos verán Su rostro(L) y Su nombre(M) estará en sus frentes(N). 5 Y ya no habrá más noche(O), y no tendrán[c] necesidad de luz de lámpara(P) ni de luz del sol, porque el Señor Dios los iluminará, y reinarán por los siglos de los siglos(Q).
La venida de Cristo
6 Y me dijo(R): «Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas(S)». El Señor, el Dios de los espíritus de los profetas(T), envió a Su ángel para mostrar a Sus siervos(U) las cosas que han de suceder enseguida. 7 «Por tanto, Yo vengo pronto(V). Bienaventurado el que guarda(W)las palabras de la profecía de este libro(X)».
8 Yo, Juan(Y), soy el que oyó y vio estas cosas. Y cuando oí y vi, me postré para adorar a los pies del ángel(Z) que me mostró estas cosas. 9 Y me dijo(AA)*: «No hagas eso[d]. Yo soy consiervo tuyo y de tus hermanos los profetas(AB) y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro(AC). Adora a Dios».
10 También me dijo*: «No selles(AD) las palabras de la profecía de este libro(AE), porque el tiempo está cerca(AF). 11 Que el injusto siga haciendo injusticias(AG), que el impuro[e] siga siendo impuro[f], que el justo siga practicando la justicia, y que el que es santo siga guardándose santo». 12 «Por tanto, Yo vengo pronto(AH), y Mi recompensa está conmigo(AI)para recompensar[g]a cada uno según sea su obra(AJ). 13 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega(AK), el Primero y el Último(AL), el Principio y el Fin(AM)».
14 Bienaventurados los que lavan sus vestiduras(AN) para tener derecho al árbol de la vida(AO) y para entrar(AP) por las puertas a la ciudad(AQ). 15 Afuera(AR) están los perros(AS), los hechiceros, los inmorales[h], los asesinos, los idólatras, y todo el que ama y practica la mentira.
Testimonio final
16 «Yo, Jesús(AT) , he enviado a Mi ángel(AU) a fin de darles a ustedes testimonio de estas cosas para[i] las iglesias(AV) . Yo soy la raíz(AW) y la descendencia de David(AX) , el lucero resplandeciente de la mañana(AY) ».
Invitación final
17 El Espíritu(AZ) y la esposa(BA) dicen: «Ven». Y el que oye, diga: «Ven». Y el que tiene sed(BB), venga; y el que desee, que tome gratuitamente del agua de la vida(BC).
Advertencia final
18 Yo testifico a todos los que oyen las palabras de la profecía de este libro(BD): si alguien añade(BE) a ellas, Dios traerá[j] sobre él las plagas(BF) que están escritas en este libro(BG). 19 Y si alguien quita(BH) de las palabras del libro(BI) de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del árbol de la vida(BJ) y de la ciudad santa descritos[k] en este libro(BK).
Oración final
20 El que testifica de estas cosas(BL) dice: «Sí, vengo pronto(BM)». Amén. Ven, Señor Jesús(BN).

The River of Life
22 Then the angel[a] showed me (A)the river of (B)the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 through the middle of (C)the street of the city; (D)also, on either side of the river, (E)the tree of life[b] with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were (F)for the healing of the nations. 3 (G)No longer will there be anything accursed, but (H)the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and (I)his servants will worship him. 4 (J)They will see his face, and (K)his name will be on their foreheads. 5 And (L)night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp (M)or sun, for (N)the Lord God will be their light, and (O)they will reign forever and ever.
Jesus Is Coming
6 And he said to me, (P)“These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of (Q)the spirits of the prophets, (R)has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
7 “And behold, (S)I am coming soon. (T)Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 I, (U)John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, (V)I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, 9 (W)but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those (X)who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
10 And he said to me, (Y)“Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 (Z)Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
12 “Behold, (AA)I am coming soon, (AB)bringing my recompense with me, (AC)to repay each one for what he has done. 13 (AD)I am the Alpha and the Omega, (AE)the first and the last, (AF)the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who (AG)wash their robes,[c] so that they may have the right to (AH)the tree of life and that (AI)they may enter the city by the gates. 15 (AJ)Outside are (AK)the dogs (AL)and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 (AM)“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things (AN)for the churches. I am (AO)the root and (AP)the descendant of David, (AQ)the bright morning star.”
17 The Spirit and (AR)the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And (AS)let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the (AT)water of life without price.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: (AU)if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in (AV)the tree of life and in (AW)the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely (AX)I am coming soon.” Amen. (AY)Come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.[d] Amen.

22 Then he showed me a pure river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 in the middle of its street. On each side of the river was the tree of life, which bore twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 There shall be no more curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5 Night shall be no more. They need no lamp nor the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
The Coming of Christ
6 The angel said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things which must soon take place.”
7 “Look, I am coming soon. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 I, John, am he who saw and heard these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. 9 But he said to me, “See that you not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”
10 Then he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him be righteous still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”
12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me to give to each one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and practices a lie.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to you with this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let him who hears say, “Come.” Let him who is thirsty come. Let him who desires take the water of life freely.
18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book. 19 And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life and out of the Holy City and out of the things which are written in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.”
Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
