21 Y VI un cielo nuevo, y una tierra nueva: porque el primer cielo y la primera tierra se fueron, y el mar ya no es.
2 Y yo Juan vi la santa ciudad, Jerusalem nueva, que descendía del cielo, de Dios, dispuesta como una esposa ataviada para su marido.
3 Y oí una gran voz del cielo que decía: He aquí el tabernáculo de Dios con los hombres, y morará con ellos; y ellos serán su pueblo, y el mismo Dios será su Dios con ellos.
4 Y limpiará Dios toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos; y la muerte no será más; y no habrá más llanto, ni clamor, ni dolor: porque las primeras cosas son pasadas.
5 Y el que estaba sentado en el trono dijo: He aquí, yo hago nuevas todas las cosas. Y me dijo: Escribe; porque estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas.
6 Y díjome: Hecho es. Yo soy Alpha y Omega, el principio y el fin. Al que tuviere sed, yo le daré de la fuente del agua de vida gratuitamente.
7 El que venciere, poseerá todas las cosas; y yo seré su Dios, y él será mi hijo.
8 Mas á los temerosos é incrédulos, á los abominables y homicidas, á los fornicarios y hechiceros, y á los idólatras, y á todos los mentirosos, su parte será en el lago ardiendo con fuego y azufre, que es la muerte segunda.
9 Y vino á mí uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas llenas de las siete postreras plagas, y habló conmigo, diciendo: Ven acá, yo te mostraré la esposa, mujer del Cordero.
10 Y llevóme en Espíritu á un grande y alto monte, y me mostró la grande ciudad santa de Jerusalem, que descendía del cielo de Dios,
11 Teniendo la claridad de Dios: y su luz era semejante á una piedra preciosísima, como piedra de jaspe, resplandeciente como cristal.
12 Y tenía un muro grande y alto con doce puertas; y en las puertas, doce ángeles, y nombres escritos, que son los de las doce tribus de los hijos de Israel.
13 Al oriente tres puertas; al norte tres puertas; al mediodiá tres puertas; al poniente tres puertas.
14 Y el muro de la ciudad tenía doce fundamentos, y en ellos los doce nombres de los doce apóstoles del Cordero.
15 Y el que hablaba conmigo, tenía una medida de una caña de oro para medir la ciudad, y sus puertas, y su muro.
16 Y la ciudad está situada y puesta en cuadro, y su largura es tanta como su anchura: y él midió la ciudad con la caña, doce mil estadios: la largura y la altura y la anchura de ella son iguales.
17 Y midió su muro, ciento cuarenta y cuatro codos, de medida de hombre, la cual es del ángel.
18 Y el material de su muro era de jaspe: mas la ciudad era de oro puro, semejante al vidrio limpio.
19 Y los fundamentos del muro de la ciudad estaban adornados de toda piedra preciosa. El primer fundamento era jaspe; el segundo, zafiro; el tercero, calcedonia; el cuarto, esmeralda;
20 El quinto, sardónica; el sexto, sardio; el séptimo, crisólito; el octavo, berilo; el nono, topacio; el décimo, crisopraso; el undécimo, jacinto; el duodécimo, amatista.
21 Y las doce puertas eran doce perlas, en cada una, una; cada puerta era de una perla. Y la plaza de la ciudad era de oro puro como vidrio trasparente.
22 Y no vi en ella templo; porque el Señor Dios Todopoderoso es el templo de ella, y el Cordero.
23 Y la ciudad no tenía necesidad de sol, ni de luna, para que resplandezcan en ella: porque la claridad de Dios la iluminó, y el Cordero era su lumbrera.
24 Y las naciones que hubieren sido salvas andarán en la lumbre de ella: y los reyes de la tierra traerán su gloria y honor á ella
25 Y sus puertas nunca serán cerradas de día, porque allí no habrá noche.
26 Y llevarán la gloria y la honra de las naciones á ella.
27 No entrará en ella ninguna cosa sucia, ó que hace abominación y mentira; sino solamente los que están escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero.

21 Vi un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva;(A) porque el primer cielo y la primera tierra pasaron, y el mar ya no existía más. 2 Y yo Juan vi la santa ciudad,(B) la nueva Jerusalén, descender del cielo, de Dios,(C) dispuesta como una esposa ataviada para su marido.(D) 3 Y oí una gran voz del cielo que decía: He aquí el tabernáculo de Dios con los hombres, y él morará con ellos; y ellos serán su pueblo,(E) y Dios mismo estará con ellos como su Dios. 4 Enjugará Dios toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos; y ya no habrá muerte,(F) ni habrá más llanto, ni clamor, ni dolor;(G) porque las primeras cosas pasaron.
5 Y el que estaba sentado en el trono dijo: He aquí, yo hago nuevas todas las cosas. Y me dijo: Escribe; porque estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas. 6 Y me dijo: Hecho está. Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin. Al que tuviere sed, yo le daré gratuitamente(H) de la fuente del agua de la vida. 7 El que venciere heredará todas las cosas, y yo seré su Dios, y él será mi hijo.(I) 8 Pero los cobardes e incrédulos, los abominables y homicidas, los fornicarios y hechiceros, los idólatras y todos los mentirosos tendrán su parte en el lago que arde con fuego y azufre, que es la muerte segunda.
La nueva Jerusalén
9 Vino entonces a mí uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas llenas de las siete plagas postreras, y habló conmigo, diciendo: Ven acá, yo te mostraré la desposada, la esposa del Cordero. 10 Y me llevó en el Espíritu a un monte grande y alto, y me mostró la gran ciudad santa de Jerusalén,(J) que descendía del cielo, de Dios, 11 teniendo la gloria de Dios. Y su fulgor era semejante al de una piedra preciosísima, como piedra de jaspe, diáfana como el cristal. 12 Tenía un muro grande y alto con doce puertas; y en las puertas, doce ángeles, y nombres inscritos, que son los de las doce tribus de los hijos de Israel; 13 al oriente tres puertas; al norte tres puertas; al sur tres puertas; al occidente tres puertas.(K) 14 Y el muro de la ciudad tenía doce cimientos, y sobre ellos los doce nombres de los doce apóstoles del Cordero.
15 El que hablaba conmigo tenía una caña de medir, de oro, para medir la ciudad, sus puertas y su muro.(L) 16 La ciudad se halla establecida en cuadro, y su longitud es igual a su anchura; y él midió la ciudad con la caña, doce mil estadios; la longitud, la altura y la anchura de ella son iguales. 17 Y midió su muro, ciento cuarenta y cuatro codos, de medida de hombre, la cual es de ángel. 18 El material de su muro era de jaspe; pero la ciudad era de oro puro, semejante al vidrio limpio; 19 y los cimientos del muro de la ciudad estaban adornados con toda piedra preciosa. El primer cimiento era jaspe; el segundo, zafiro; el tercero, ágata; el cuarto, esmeralda; 20 el quinto, ónice; el sexto, cornalina; el séptimo, crisólito; el octavo, berilo; el noveno, topacio; el décimo, crisopraso; el undécimo, jacinto; el duodécimo, amatista. 21 Las doce puertas eran doce perlas;(M) cada una de las puertas era una perla. Y la calle de la ciudad era de oro puro, transparente como vidrio.
22 Y no vi en ella templo; porque el Señor Dios Todopoderoso es el templo de ella, y el Cordero. 23 La ciudad no tiene necesidad de sol ni de luna que brillen en ella; porque la gloria de Dios la ilumina,(N) y el Cordero es su lumbrera. 24 Y las naciones que hubieren sido salvas andarán a la luz de ella; y los reyes de la tierra traerán su gloria y honor a ella. 25 Sus puertas nunca serán cerradas de día, pues allí no habrá noche. 26 Y llevarán la gloria y la honra de las naciones a ella.(O) 27 No entrará en ella ninguna cosa inmunda,(P) o que hace abominación y mentira, sino solamente los que están inscritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero.

21 Потом я увидел новое небо и новую землю.[a] Первого неба и первой земли уже не было, моря тоже больше не было. 2 Я увидел святой город – новый Иерусалим. Он спускался с небес от Всевышнего, приготовленный как невеста, украшенная для своего мужа. 3 И я услышал громкий голос, прозвучавший от трона:
– Это жилище Всевышнего с людьми. Здесь Он будет жить с ними, и они будут Его народом. Он будет с ними и будет их Богом.[b] 4 Он отрёт с их глаз каждую слезу. Больше не будет ни смерти, ни скорби, ни вопля, ни боли, потому что прежнее ушло.[c]
5 Сидящий на троне сказал:
– Я творю всё новое!
И Он добавил:
– Запиши, потому что это верные и истинные слова.
6 Затем Он сказал мне:
– Свершилось! Я – Владыка всего: от А до Я![d] Я и Начало, и Конец![e] Тому, кто мучится от жажды, Я дам пить даром из источника воды жизни. 7 Побеждающий наследует всё это, и Я буду его Богом, а он будет Моим сыном. 8 Но тем, кто испугался следовать по Моему пути, и тем, кто был Мне неверен, а также подлецам, убийцам, развратникам, колдунам, идолопоклонникам и всем лжецам – им место в озере с горящей серой. Это вторая смерть.
9 Один из семи ангелов, у которых были семь чаш, наполненных семью последними бедствиями, подошёл и сказал мне:
– Пойдём, я покажу тебе невесту, жену Ягнёнка!
10 И он перенёс меня в духе на большую и высокую гору. Оттуда он показал мне святой город Иерусалим, спускающийся с небес от Всевышнего.[f] 11 Он сияет славой Всевышнего, и его сияние напоминает сияние драгоценнейшего камня, наподобие яшмы, чистой, как кристалл. 12 У города большая и высокая стена и двенадцать ворот, а у ворот – двенадцать ангелов. На воротах написаны имена двенадцати родов Исраила. 13 Трое ворот – с востока, трое – с севера, трое – с юга и трое – с запада.[g] 14 Стена города стоит на двенадцати основаниях, и на них написаны имена двенадцати посланников Ягнёнка.
15 У ангела, который говорил со мной, была золотая трость для измерения города, его ворот и стен.[h] 16 Город был квадратным, длина его равнялась ширине. Ангел измерил город тростью. Длина города была двенадцать тысяч стадий[i]. Его ширина и высота равнялись длине.[j] 17 Ангел измерил стены, они были толщиной[k] в сто сорок четыре локтя[l], согласно человеческим меркам, которыми пользовался ангел. 18 Стена была построена из яшмы, а сам город – из чистого, как прозрачное стекло, золота. 19 Основания стен города были украшены всевозможными драгоценными камнями: первое основание было из яшмы, второе – из сапфира, третье – из агата, четвёртое – из изумруда, 20 пятое – из оникса, шестое – из сердолика, седьмое – из хризолита, восьмое – из берилла, девятое – из топаза, десятое – из хризопраза, одиннадцатое – из гиацинта, двенадцатое – из аметиста.[m] 21 Двенадцать ворот были двенадцатью жемчужинами: каждые ворота из отдельной жемчужины.[n] А центральная улица города была из чистого, как прозрачное стекло, золота.
22 Храма в городе я не видел, потому что его храм – это Сам Вечный, Бог Сил, и Ягнёнок. 23 Город не нуждается в солнечном или лунном свете, потому что слава Всевышнего освещает его и Ягнёнок является его светилом.[o] 24 Народы будут ходить в его свете, и цари земли принесут в него свою славу.[p] 25 Ворота города никогда не будут закрыты днём, а ночи там не будет. 26 И принесут в него славу и честь народов.[q] 27 В него не войдёт ничто нечистое, и никто совершающий постыдные или лживые поступки. Там будут только те, чьи имена записаны у Ягнёнка в книге жизни.

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
