¹²Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en PÉRGAMO: El que tiene la espada aguda de dos filos, dice estas cosas:

¹³Yo sé tus obras, y dónde moras, donde está la silla de Satanás; y retienes mi nombre, y no has negado mi fe, aun en los días en que fué Antipas mi testigo fiel, el cual ha sido muerto entre vosotros, donde Satanás mora.

¹⁴Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: porque tú tienes ahí los que tienen la doctrina de ahí los que tienen la doctrina de Fcbalaam, el cual enseñaba á Balac á poner escándalo delante de los hijos de Israel, á comer de cosas sacrificadas á los ídolos, y á cometer fornicación.

To the Church in Pergamum

¹²“To the angel of the church in Pergamum^(A) write:

These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.^(B) ¹³I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me,^(C) not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness,^(D) who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.^(E)

¹⁴Nevertheless, I have a few things against you:^(F) There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam,^(G) who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols^(H) and committed sexual immorality.^(I)

¹³I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

¹⁴But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
