Cantos de victoria en el cielo
19 Después de esto, oí algo en el cielo que parecía las voces de una inmensa multitud que gritaba:
«¡Alabado sea el Señor![a]
La salvación, la gloria y el poder le pertenecen a nuestro Dios.
2 Sus juicios son verdaderos y justos.
Él ha castigado a la gran prostituta
que corrompió a la tierra con su inmoralidad.
Él ha vengado la muerte de sus siervos».
3 Y otra vez, sus voces resonaron:
«¡Alabado sea el Señor!
¡El humo de esa ciudad subirá por siempre jamás!».
4 Entonces los veinticuatro ancianos y los cuatro seres vivientes se postraron y adoraron a Dios, que estaba sentado en el trono. Exclamaron: «¡Amén! ¡Alabado sea el Señor!».
5 Y del trono salió una voz que dijo:
«Alaben a nuestro Dios
todos sus siervos
y todos los que le temen,
desde el más insignificante hasta el más importante».
6 Entonces volví a oír algo que parecía el grito de una inmensa multitud o el rugido de enormes olas del mar o el estruendo de un potente trueno, que decían:
«¡Alabado sea el Señor!
Pues el Señor nuestro Dios,[b] el Todopoderoso, reina.
7 Alegrémonos y llenémonos de gozo
y démosle honor a él,
porque el tiempo ha llegado para la boda del Cordero,
y su novia se ha preparado.
8 A ella se le ha concedido vestirse del lino blanco y puro de la más alta calidad».
Pues el lino de la más alta calidad representa las buenas acciones del pueblo santo de Dios.
9 Y el ángel me dijo: «Escribe esto: “Benditos son los que están invitados a la cena de la boda del Cordero”». Y añadió: «Estas son palabras verdaderas que provienen de Dios».
10 Entonces me postré a sus pies para adorarlo, pero me dijo: «No, no me adores a mí. Yo soy un siervo de Dios, como tú y tus hermanos que dan testimonio de su fe en Jesús. Adora únicamente a Dios, porque la esencia de la profecía es dar un claro testimonio de Jesús[c]».
El jinete sobre el caballo blanco
11 Entonces vi el cielo abierto, y había allí un caballo blanco. Su jinete se llamaba Fiel y Verdadero, porque juzga con rectitud y hace una guerra justa. 12 Sus ojos eran como llamas de fuego, y llevaba muchas coronas en la cabeza. Tenía escrito un nombre que nadie entendía excepto él mismo. 13 Llevaba puesta una túnica bañada de sangre, y su título era «la Palabra de Dios». 14 Los ejércitos del cielo vestidos del lino blanco y puro de la más alta calidad lo seguían en caballos blancos. 15 De su boca salía una espada afilada para derribar a las naciones. Él las gobernará con vara de hierro y desatará el furor de la ira de Dios, el Todopoderoso, como el jugo que corre del lagar. 16 En la túnica, a la altura del muslo,[d] estaba escrito el título: «Rey de todos los reyes y Señor de todos los señores».
17 Después vi a un ángel parado en el sol que les gritaba a los buitres que volaban en lo alto de los cielos: «¡Vengan! Reúnanse para el gran banquete que Dios ha preparado. 18 Vengan y coman la carne de los reyes, los generales y los fuertes guerreros; la de los caballos y sus jinetes y la de toda la humanidad, tanto esclavos como libres, tanto pequeños como grandes».
19 Después vi a la bestia y a los reyes del mundo y sus ejércitos, todos reunidos para luchar contra el que está sentado en el caballo y contra su ejército. 20 Y la bestia fue capturada, y junto con ella, el falso profeta que hacía grandes milagros en nombre de la bestia; milagros que engañaban a todos los que habían aceptado la marca de la bestia y adorado a su estatua. Tanto la bestia como el falso profeta fueron lanzados vivos al lago de fuego que arde con azufre. 21 Todo su ejército fue aniquilado por la espada afilada que salía de la boca del que montaba el caballo blanco. Y todos los buitres devoraron los cuerpos muertos hasta hartarse.

Heaven Exults over Babylon
19 After these things (A)I [a]heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! (B)Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to [b]the Lord our God! 2 For (C)true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He (D)has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” 3 Again they said, “Alleluia! (E)Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” 4 And (F)the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, (G)“Amen! Alleluia!” 5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying, (H)“Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, (I)both[c] small and great!”
6 (J)And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For (K)the[d] Lord God Omnipotent reigns! 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for (L)the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8 And (M)to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, (N)for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
9 Then he said to me, “Write: (O)‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, (P)“These are the true sayings of God.” 10 And (Q)I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, (R)“See that you do not do that! I am your (S)fellow servant, and of your brethren (T)who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the (U)testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Christ on a White Horse
11 (V)Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, (W)a white horse. And He who sat on him was called (X)Faithful and True, and (Y)in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 (Z)His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. (AA)He [e]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 (AB)He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called (AC)The Word of God. 14 (AD)And the armies in heaven, (AE)clothed in [f]fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now (AF)out of His mouth goes a [g]sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And (AG)He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. (AH)He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And (AI)He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
(AJ)KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.
The Beast and His Armies Defeated
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, (AK)“Come and gather together for the [h]supper of the great God, 18 (AL)that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, [i]free and slave, both small and great.”
19 (AM)And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 (AN)Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and (AO)those who worshiped his image. (AP)These two were cast alive into the lake of fire (AQ)burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest (AR)were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. (AS)And all the birds (AT)were filled with their flesh.
