Adoraron al dragón, porque había dado autoridad(A) a la bestia. Adoraron a la bestia, diciendo: «¿Quién es semejante a la bestia(B), y quién puede luchar contra ella?».

A la bestia se le dio una boca que hablaba palabras arrogantes[a](C) y blasfemias, y se le dio autoridad para actuar[b] durante cuarenta y dos meses(D). Y abrió su boca con blasfemias contra Dios, para blasfemar Su nombre y Su tabernáculo, es decir, contra los que moran en el cielo(E).

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies(B) and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.(C) It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.(D)
