婦人、孩子和龍
12 接著，天上出現了一個大徵兆：有一個婦人身披太陽，腳踏月亮，頭上戴著十二顆星的冠冕。 2 她懷了孕；後來在臨產的陣痛和分娩的折磨中喊叫起來。 3 隨後，天上出現了另一個徵兆：看哪，一條火紅色的巨龍，有七個頭和十隻角，七個頭上戴著七個王冠。 4 牠的尾巴拖著天上星辰的三分之一，把它們摔在地上。這龍站在那快要生產的婦人面前，為要在她生產之後，吞吃她的孩子。 5 那婦人生了一個男孩子，就是那位將要用鐵杖治理[a]萬國的。可是這孩子被提到神和他的寶座那裡。 6 那婦人就逃到曠野去，在那裡有神已經為她所預備好的地方，好讓她在那裡被供養一千二百六十天。
巨龍戰敗墜地
7 接著，天上發生了戰爭：米迦勒和他的天使們與龍交戰，龍和牠的使者們也應戰， 8 可是龍不能得勝，天上再也沒有[b]牠們的地方了。 9 於是那巨龍被摔了下來。牠就是那古蛇，被稱為魔鬼和撒旦，那迷惑普天下的。牠被摔在地上，牠的使者們也與牠一起被摔了下來。
10 隨後，我聽見天上有一個大聲音說：
「我們神的救恩、大能、國度，
和他基督的權柄，現在都來到了！
因為我們弟兄的控告者，
就是那日夜在我們神面前控告他們的，
已經被摔下去了。
11 他們藉著羔羊的血，藉著自己所見證的話語而勝過了牠
，他們至死也沒有愛惜自己的生命。
12 為此，諸天和居住在其中的，你們應當慶祝！
但是大地和海洋[c]卻有禍了，
因為魔鬼知道自己的時候不多，
就懷著烈怒下到你們那裡去了。」
巨龍迫害婦人
13 那龍一見自己被摔在地上，就追逼那生了男孩的婦人。 14 但那婦人被賜予了大鷹的兩個翅膀，使她可以飛到曠野，到她自己的地方；在那裡她被供養一期，二期，又半期[d]，遠離那蛇的面。 15 蛇就在那婦人後面，從口裡吐出水來，像江河一樣，要把她沖走。 16 可是大地幫助了那婦人；大地張開口，吞下了從龍口裡吐出的河水。 17 於是龍就向那婦人發怒，又去與她其餘的後裔作戰，這後裔就是那些遵守神的命令、持守有關耶穌[e]見證的人。 18 然後，龍[f]站在海邊的沙灘上。[g]

The Woman and the Dragon
12 A great sign(A) appeared in heaven:(B) a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars(C) on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain(D) as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven:(E) an enormous red dragon(F) with seven heads(G) and ten horns(H) and seven crowns(I) on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third(J) of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.(K) The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child(L) the moment he was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”[a](M) And her child was snatched up(N) to God and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.(O)
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael(P) and his angels fought against the dragon,(Q) and the dragon and his angels(R) fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent(S) called the devil,(T) or Satan,(U) who leads the whole world astray.(V) He was hurled to the earth,(W) and his angels with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven(X) say:
“Now have come the salvation(Y) and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,(Z)
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over(AA) him
by the blood of the Lamb(AB)
and by the word of their testimony;(AC)
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.(AD)
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens(AE)
and you who dwell in them!
But woe(AF) to the earth and the sea,(AG)
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
13 When the dragon(AH) saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.(AI) 14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle,(AJ) so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time,(AK) out of the serpent’s reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent(AL) spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war(AM) against the rest of her offspring(AN)—those who keep God’s commands(AO) and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.(AP)

也不愛惜自己的性命。
12 所以，眾天和住在其中的，
你們都歡樂吧！
可是地和海有禍了！
因為魔鬼知道自己的時日無多，
就大大發怒下到你們那裡去了。”
13 龍見自己被摔在地上，就迫害那生了男孩子的婦人。 14 於是有大鷹的兩個翅膀賜給了那婦人，使她可以飛到曠野，到自己的地方，在那裡得供養一年兩年半年，離開那蛇的面。 15 蛇在婦人後面，從口中吐出水來，好像江河一樣，要把婦人沖去。 16 地卻幫助了那婦人，張開口，把從龍口中吐出來的河水吞了。 17 龍就向婦人發怒，去和她其餘的子孫作戰，就是和那遵守 神命令堅持耶穌見證的人作戰。 18 那時，龍站在海邊的沙上。
