6 y juró por el que vive para siempre, el que hizo el cielo, la tierra, el mar y todas las cosas que hay en ellos. Dijo: «Ya no habrá más tiempo, 7 sino que cuando llegue el momento en que el séptimo ángel comience a tocar su trompeta, quedará cumplido el designio secreto de Dios, como él anunció a sus propios siervos los profetas.»
8 La voz que yo había oído, y que salía del cielo, volvió a hablarme, y me dijo: «Anda y toma el rollito abierto que tiene en la mano el ángel que está de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra.»

6 And he swore(A) by him who lives for ever and ever,(B) who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it,(C) and said, “There will be no more delay!(D) 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet,(E) the mystery(F) of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”(G)
8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven(H) spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll(I) that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
