A abertura do sétimo selo. Os sete anjos com as sete trombetas. As quatro primeiras trombetas
8 E, havendo aberto o sétimo selo, fez-se silêncio no céu quase por meia hora. 2 E vi os sete anjos que estavam diante de Deus, e foram-lhes dadas sete trombetas.
3 E veio outro anjo e pôs-se junto ao altar, tendo um incensário de ouro; e foi-lhe dado muito incenso, para o pôr com as orações de todos os santos sobre o altar de ouro que está diante do trono. 4 E a fumaça do incenso subiu com as orações dos santos desde a mão do anjo até diante de Deus. 5 E o anjo tomou o incensário, e o encheu do fogo do altar, e o lançou sobre a terra; e houve depois vozes, e trovões, e relâmpagos, e terremotos. 6 E os sete anjos, que tinham as sete trombetas, prepararam-se para tocá-las.
7 E o primeiro anjo tocou a trombeta, e houve saraiva e fogo misturado com sangue, e foram lançados na terra, que foi queimada na sua terça parte; queimou-se a terça parte das árvores, e toda a erva verde foi queimada.
8 E o segundo anjo tocou a trombeta; e foi lançada no mar uma coisa como um grande monte ardendo em fogo, e tornou-se em sangue a terça parte do mar. 9 E morreu a terça parte das criaturas que tinham vida no mar; e perdeu-se a terça parte das naus.
10 E o terceiro anjo tocou a trombeta, e caiu do céu uma grande estrela, ardendo como uma tocha, e caiu sobre a terça parte dos rios e sobre as fontes das águas. 11 E o nome da estrela era Absinto, e a terça parte das águas tornou-se em absinto, e muitos homens morreram das águas, porque se tornaram amargas.
12 E o quarto anjo tocou a trombeta, e foi ferida a terça parte do sol, e a terça parte da lua, e a terça parte das estrelas, para que a terça parte deles se escurecesse, e a terça parte do dia não brilhasse, e semelhantemente a noite. 13 E olhei e ouvi um anjo voar pelo meio do céu, dizendo com grande voz: Ai! Ai! Ai dos que habitam sobre a terra, por causa das outras vozes das trombetas dos três anjos que hão de ainda tocar!

8 Atatsekula chomatira chachisanu ndi chiwiri, kumwamba kunakhala chete mphindi makumi atatu.
2 Ndipo ndinaona angelo asanu ndi awiri aja amene amayimirira pamaso pa Mulungu, akupatsidwa malipenga asanu ndi awiri.
3 Mngelo wina amene anali ndi chofukizira chagolide anabwera nayimirira pa guwa lansembe. Anapatsidwa lubani wambiri kuti amupereke pamodzi ndi mapemphero a anthu onse oyera mtima pa guwa lansembe lagolide patsogolo pa mpando waufumu. 4 Fungo la lubani pamodzi ndi mapemphero a oyera mtima zinakwera kumwamba kwa Mulungu kuchokera mʼdzanja la mngeloyo. 5 Kenaka mngeloyo anatenga chofukizira nachidzaza ndi moto wochokera pa guwa lansembe ndi kuponya pa dziko lapansi ndipo nthawi yomweyo panachitika mabingu, phokoso, mphenzi ndi chivomerezi.
Malipenga
6 Angelo asanu ndi awiri anakonzekera kuyimba malipenga asanu ndi awiri.
7 Mngelo woyamba anayimba lipenga lake ndipo kunabwera matalala ndi moto wosakanizana ndi magazi ndipo unaponyedwa pa dziko lapansi. Gawo limodzi la magawo atatu a dziko lapansi linapsa, gawo limodzi la magawo atatu a mitengo linapsa ndi gawo limodzi la magawo atatu a udzu wauwisi linapsanso.
8 Mngelo wachiwiri anayimba lipenga lake, ndipo chinthu china chooneka ngati phiri lalikulu loyaka moto, chinaponyedwa mʼnyanja. Gawo limodzi la magawo atatu a nyanja linasanduka magazi. 9 Gawo limodzi mwa magawo atatu a zolengedwa zonse zamoyo za mʼnyanja, linafa, ndipo gawo limodzi la sitima za pamadzi linawonongedwa.
10 Mngelo wachitatu anayimba lipenga lake, ndipo nyenyezi yayikulu, yoyaka ngati muni inachoka kumwamba nigwera pa gawo limodzi la magawo atatu a mitsinje ndi pa akasupe amadzi. 11 Dzina la nyenyeziyo ndi Chowawa. Gawo limodzi la magawo atatu a madzi anasanduka owawa ndipo anthu ambiri anafa chifukwa cha madzi owawawo.
12 Mngelo wachinayi anayimba lipenga lake, ndipo chimodzi cha zigawo zitatu za dzuwa, za mwezi ndi za nyenyezi zinamenyedwa kotero chimodzi mwa zitatu za zonsezi zinada. Panalibenso kuwala pa chimodzi mwa zigawo zitatu za usana, ndi chimodzimodzinso usiku.
13 Ndinayangʼananso ndipo ndinaona ndi kumva chiwombankhanga chimene chinkawuluka mlengalenga kwambiri chikuyankhula mofuwula kuti, “Tsoka, Tsoka! Tsoka lalikulu kwa anthu okhala mʼdziko lapansi, angelo otsala aja akangoyimba malipenga awo!”

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer
8 When he opened the seventh seal,(A) there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels(B) who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.(C)
3 Another angel,(D) who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people,(E) on the golden altar(F) in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God(G) from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar,(H) and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder,(I) rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.(J)
The Trumpets
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets(K) prepared to sound them.
7 The first angel(L) sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire(M) mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third(N) of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.(O)
8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain,(P) all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third(Q) of the sea turned into blood,(R) 9 a third(S) of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky(T) on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water(U)— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third(V) of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.(W)
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third(X) of them turned dark.(Y) A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.(Z)
13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair(AA) call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe(AB) to the inhabitants of the earth,(AC) because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”
