Amos 7:16-17

Do not prophesy^(A) against Israel;
do not preach^(B) against the house of Isaac.

Your wife will be a prostitute in the city,^(C)
your sons and daughters will fall by the sword,^(D)
and your land will be divided up
with a measuring line.
You yourself will die on pagan^[a] soil,^(E)
and Israel will certainly go into exile^(F)
from its homeland.
