Amos 7:12-14

12 Then Amaziah said to Amos, “Go away, you seer!(A) Flee to the land of Judah. Earn your living[a] and give your prophecies there, 13 but don’t ever prophesy(B) at Bethel again, for it is the king’s sanctuary(C) and a royal temple.”
14 So Amos answered Amaziah, “I was[b] not a prophet or the son of a prophet;[c](D) rather, I was[d] a herdsman,(E) and I took care of sycamore figs.

12 Then Amaziah said to Amos:
“Go, you seer!
Flee to the land of Judah.
There eat bread,
And there prophesy.
13 But (A)never again prophesy at Bethel,
(B)For it is the king’s [a]sanctuary,
And it is the royal [b]residence.”
14 Then Amos answered, and said to Amaziah:
“I was no prophet,
Nor was I (C)a son of a prophet,
But I was a (D)sheepbreeder
And a tender of sycamore fruit.
