8 The Lord God has sworn by Himself(A)—this is the declaration of Yahweh, the God of Hosts:
I loathe Jacob’s pride(B)and hate his citadels,(C)so I will hand over the city(D) and everything in it.
7 The Lord has sworn(A) by the Pride of Jacob:[a](B)
I will never forget all their deeds.(C)
