8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name:
9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
10 They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

8 The One who made the Pleiades and Orion,(A)
who turns darkness[a] into dawn(B)
and darkens day into night,(C)
who summons the waters of the sea(D)
and pours them out over the face of the earth(E)—
Yahweh is His name.(F)
9 He brings destruction[b] on the strong,[c](G)
and it falls on the stronghold.(H)
10 They hate the one who convicts the guilty(I)
at the city gate
and despise(J) the one who speaks with integrity.
