Amos 4:7-9
English Standard Version
7 “I also (A)withheld the rain from you
when there were yet three months to the harvest;
(B)I would send rain on one city,
and send no rain on another city;
one field would have rain,
and the field on which it did not rain would wither;
8 so two or three cities (C)would wander to another city
to drink water, and would not be satisfied;
(D)yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.
9 (E)“I struck you with blight and mildew;
your many gardens and your vineyards,
your fig trees and your olive trees (F)the locust devoured;
(G)yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.
Amos 4:7-9
King James Version
7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.
9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.

Amos 4:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 “Furthermore, I (A)withheld the rain from you
While there were still three months until harvest.
Then I would send rain on one city,
But on (B)another city I would not send rain;
One part would be rained on,
While the part not rained on would dry up.
8 So the people of two or three cities would stagger to another city to drink (C)water,
But would (D)not be satisfied;
Yet you have (E)not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.
9 “I (F)struck you with scorching wind and mildew;
The (G)caterpillar was devouring
Your many gardens and vineyards, fig trees and olive trees;
Yet you have (H)not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.
Amos 4:7-9
New International Version
7 “I also withheld(A) rain from you
when the harvest was still three months away.
I sent rain on one town,
but withheld it from another.(B)
One field had rain;
another had none and dried up.
8 People staggered from town to town for water(C)
but did not get enough(D) to drink,
yet you have not returned(E) to me,”
declares the Lord.(F)
