Amos 4:7-9

⁷“I also ^(A)withheld the rain from you
    when there were yet three months to the harvest;
^(B)I would send rain on one city,
    and send no rain on another city;
one field would have rain,
    and the field on which it did not rain would wither;
⁸so two or three cities ^(C)would wander to another city
    to drink water, and would not be satisfied;
^(D)yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.

⁹^(E)“I struck you with blight and mildew;
your many gardens and your vineyards,
your fig trees and your olive trees ^(F)the locust devoured;
^(G)yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.

⁷And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

⁸So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.

⁹I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.
