Ang hatol ng Panginoon sa mga kalapit bansa.
1 Ang mga salita ni Amos, (A)na nasa gitna ng mga pastor sa (B)Tecoa, na nakita niya tungkol sa Israel, nang mga kaarawan ni (C)Uzzia na hari sa Juda, at nang mga kaarawan ni (D)Jeroboam na anak ni Joas na hari sa Israel, na dalawang taon bago (E)lumindol.
2 At kaniyang sinabi, Ang Panginoon ay aangal mula sa Sion, at sisigaw ng kaniyang tinig mula sa Jerusalem; at ang mga pastulan ng mga pastor ay mananambitan, at ang taluktok ng Carmelo ay matutuyo.
3 Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon: (F)Dahil sa tatlong pagsalangsang ng (G)Damasco, oo, dahil sa apat, hindi ko ihihiwalay ang kaparusahan sa kaniya; (H)sapagka't kanilang giniik ang Galaad ng panggiik na bakal.
4 Nguni't aking susuguin ang isang apoy sa loob ng bahay ni Hazael, at susupukin niyaon ang mga palacio ni (I)Ben-hadad.
5 At aking iwawasak ang (J)halang ng Damasco, at aking ihihiwalay ang mananahan mula sa libis ng Aven, at siyang humahawak ng cetro mula sa bahay ng Eden; at ang bayan ng Siria ay papasok sa pagkabihag hanggang sa Chir, sabi ng Panginoon.
6 Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon: Dahil sa tatlong pagsalangsang (K)ng Gaza, oo, dahil sa apat, hindi ko ihihiwalay ang kaparusahan sa kaniya; (L)sapagka't kanilang dinalang bihag ang buong bayan, (M)upang ibigay sa Edom.
7 Nguni't ako'y magsusugo ng isang apoy sa kuta ng Gaza, at susupukin niyaon ang mga palacio niyaon:
8 At aking ihihiwalay ang mananahan mula sa Asdod, at siyang humahawak ng cetro mula sa Ascalon; at aking ipipihit ang aking kamay laban sa Ecron, at (N)ang nalabi sa mga Filisteo ay malilipol, sabi ng Panginoong Dios.
9 Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon: Dahil sa tatlong pagsalangsang ng (O)Tiro, oo, dahil sa apat, hindi ko ihihiwalay ang kaparusahan sa kaniya; (P)sapagka't kanilang ibinigay ang buong bayan sa Edom, at hindi inalaala ang (Q)tipan ng pagkakapatiran.
10 Nguni't ako'y magsusugo ng isang apoy sa kuta ng Tiro, at susupukin niyaon ang mga palacio niyaon.
11 Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon: Dahil sa tatlong pagsalangsang ng (R)Edom, oo, dahil sa apat, hindi ko ihihiwalay ang kaparusahan sa kaniya; sapagka't hinabol niya ng (S)tabak ang kaniyang kapatid, at ipinagkait ang buong habag, at ang kaniyang galit ay laging nanglilipol, at taglay niya ang kaniyang poot magpakailan man.
12 Nguni't magsusugo ako ng isang apoy sa Teman, at susupukin niyaon ang mga palacio sa Bozra.
13 Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon: Dahil sa tatlong pagsalangsang ng (T)mga anak ni Ammon, oo, dahil sa apat, hindi ko ihihiwalay ang kaparusahan sa kanila; sapagka't (U)kanilang pinaluwa ang bituka ng mga babaing nagdadalang tao sa Galaad, upang kanilang mapalapad ang kanilang hangganan.
14 Nguni't aking papagniningasin ang isang apoy sa kuta ng (V)Rabba, at susupukin niyaon ang mga palacio niyaon, na may hiyawan sa kaarawan ng pagbabaka, na may bagyo sa kaarawan ng ipoipo;
15 At ang kanilang hari ay papasok sa pagkabihag, siya at ang kaniyang mga prinsipe na magkakasama, sabi ng Panginoon.

1 LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.
2 Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.
3 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.
4 Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Ben-hadad.
5 Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.
6 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.
7 Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.
8 Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.
9 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.
10 Y meteré fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.
11 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.
12 Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.
13 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.
14 Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:
15 Y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y sus príncipes todos, dice Jehová.

Juicios contra las naciones vecinas
1 Las palabras de Amós, que fue uno de los pastores de Tecoa, que profetizó acerca de Israel en días de Uzías(A) rey de Judá y en días de Jeroboam(B) hijo de Joás, rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto. 2 Dijo: Jehová rugirá desde Sion, y dará su voz desde Jerusalén,(C) y los campos de los pastores se enlutarán, y se secará la cumbre del Carmelo.
3 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco,(D) y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque trillaron a Galaad con trillos de hierro. 4 Prenderé fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Ben-adad. 5 Y quebraré los cerrojos de Damasco, y destruiré a los moradores del valle de Avén, y los gobernadores de Bet-edén; y el pueblo de Siria será transportado a Kir, dice Jehová.
6 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque llevó cautivo a todo un pueblo para entregarlo a Edom. 7 Prenderé fuego en el muro de Gaza, y consumirá sus palacios. 8 Y destruiré a los moradores de Asdod, y a los gobernadores de Ascalón; y volveré mi mano contra Ecrón, y el resto de los filisteos(E) perecerá, ha dicho Jehová el Señor.
9 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro,(F) y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque entregaron a todo un pueblo cautivo a Edom, y no se acordaron del pacto de hermanos. 10 Prenderé fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.
11 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom,(G) y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque persiguió a espada a su hermano, y violó todo afecto natural; y en su furor le ha robado siempre, y perpetuamente ha guardado el rencor. 12 Prenderé fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.
13 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Amón,(H) y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque para ensanchar sus tierras abrieron a las mujeres de Galaad que estaban encintas. 14 Encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabá, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en el día de la batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso; 15 y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová.

1 The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa(A)—the vision he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake,(B) when Uzziah(C) was king of Judah and Jeroboam(D) son of Jehoash[a] was king of Israel.(E)
2 He said:
“The Lord roars(F) from Zion
and thunders(G) from Jerusalem;(H)
the pastures of the shepherds dry up,
and the top of Carmel(I) withers.”(J)
Judgment on Israel’s Neighbors
3 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Damascus,(K)
even for four, I will not relent.(L)
Because she threshed Gilead
with sledges having iron teeth,
4 I will send fire(M) on the house of Hazael(N)
that will consume the fortresses(O) of Ben-Hadad.(P)
5 I will break down the gate(Q) of Damascus;
I will destroy the king who is in[b] the Valley of Aven[c]
and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden.(R)
The people of Aram will go into exile to Kir,(S)”
says the Lord.(T)
6 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Gaza,(U)
even for four, I will not relent.(V)
Because she took captive whole communities
and sold them to Edom,(W)
7 I will send fire on the walls of Gaza
that will consume her fortresses.
8 I will destroy the king[d] of Ashdod(X)
and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon.
I will turn my hand(Y) against Ekron,
till the last of the Philistines(Z) are dead,”(AA)
says the Sovereign Lord.(AB)
9 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Tyre,(AC)
even for four, I will not relent.(AD)
Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom,
disregarding a treaty of brotherhood,(AE)
10 I will send fire on the walls of Tyre
that will consume her fortresses.(AF)”
11 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Edom,(AG)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he pursued his brother with a sword(AH)
and slaughtered the women of the land,
because his anger raged continually
and his fury flamed unchecked,(AI)
12 I will send fire on Teman(AJ)
that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah.(AK)”
13 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Ammon,(AL)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he ripped open the pregnant women(AM) of Gilead
in order to extend his borders,
14 I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah(AN)
that will consume(AO) her fortresses
amid war cries(AP) on the day of battle,
amid violent winds(AQ) on a stormy day.
15 Her king[e] will go into exile,
he and his officials together,(AR)”
says the Lord.(AS)
