7 So I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza which shall devour its strongholds.
8 And I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon, and I will turn My hand against Ekron; and the rest of the Philistines [in Gath and the towns dependent on these four Philistine cities] shall perish, says the Lord God.(A)
9 Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Tyre and for four [for multiplied delinquencies], I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because they [as middlemen] delivered up a whole [Jewish] population to Edom and did not [seriously] remember their brotherly covenant.(B)

Which shall devour its palaces.
8 I will cut off the inhabitant (B)from Ashdod,
And the one who holds the scepter from Ashkelon;
I will (C)turn My hand against Ekron,
And (D)the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,”
Says the Lord God.
9 Thus says the Lord:
“For three transgressions of (E)Tyre, and for four,
I will not turn away its punishment,
Because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom,
And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.

7 Prenderé fuego en el muro de Gaza, y consumirá sus palacios. 8 Y destruiré a los moradores de Asdod, y a los gobernadores de Ascalón; y volveré mi mano contra Ecrón, y el resto de los filisteos(A) perecerá, ha dicho Jehová el Señor.
9 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro,(B) y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque entregaron a todo un pueblo cautivo a Edom, y no se acordaron del pacto de hermanos.
