22 Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will ·give you [L raise up for you] a prophet like me, ·who is one of your own people [L from among your brothers]. You must ·listen to [hear; obey] everything he tells you. 23 Anyone who does not listen to that prophet will ·die, cut off [be utterly destroyed] from God’s people [Lev. 23:29; Deut. 18:15–20].’

22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, (A)‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
