³where he stayed three months. Because some Jews had plotted against him^(A) just as he was about to sail for Syria,^(B) he decided to go back through Macedonia.^(C) ⁴He was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus^(D) and Secundus from Thessalonica,^(E) Gaius^(F) from Derbe, Timothy^(G) also, and Tychicus^(H) and Trophimus^(I) from the province of Asia.^(J) ⁵These men went on ahead and waited for us^(K) at Troas.^(L)
