²¹Alors le peuple a demandé un roi et Dieu leur a donné Saül, fils de Qish, de la tribu de Benjamin. Celui-ci a régné sur eux pendant quarante ans.

²¹Then the people asked for a king,^(A) and he gave them Saul^(B) son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin,^(C) who ruled forty years.

²¹And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
