32 Now as Peter was traveling through all those regions, he also came down to (A)the [a]saints who lived at [b](B)Lydda. 33 There he found a man named Aeneas who had been bedridden for eight years, [c]because he was paralyzed. 34 Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your own bed.” Immediately he got up. 35 And all who lived at [d](C)Lydda and (D)Sharon saw him, and they (E)turned to the Lord.

Aeneas is Healed

32 Now when Peter was going around among all of the disciples,[a] he also visited the saints living in Lydda. 33 There he found a man named Aeneas who was paralyzed and had been bedridden for eight years. 34 Peter told him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Messiah[b] is healing you. Get up and put away your mat!” At once he got up, 35 and all the people who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
