⁴² This became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

³⁵ And all the residents of Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.^(A)

The Plot to Kill Jesus

⁴⁵ Many of the Jews, therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen what Jesus did believed in him.^(A)

¹⁷ When this became known to all residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks, everyone was awestruck, and the name of the Lord Jesus was praised.^{(A) 18} Also many of those who became believers confessed and disclosed their practices.
