⁴² And it became known throughout all Joppa, ^(A)and many believed on the Lord.

²¹ And ^(A)the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and ^(B)turned to the Lord.

³⁵ So all who dwelt at Lydda and ^(A)Sharon saw him and ^(B)turned to the Lord.

⁴⁴ Then Jesus cried out and said, ^(A)“He who believes in Me, ^(B)believes not in Me ^(C)but in Him who sent Me.

^11 (A)because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.

The Plot to Kill Jesus^(A)

⁴⁵ Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, ^(B)and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him.

¹⁷ This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and ^(A)fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. ¹⁸ And many who had believed came ^(B)confessing and telling their deeds.

⁴ When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”
