⁴⁰ But Peter ^(A)put them all outside, and ^(B)knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body ^(C)he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

²⁵ But ^(A)when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and ^(B)took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

⁶⁰ And ^(A)falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, ^(B)“Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, ^(C)he fell asleep.

⁵⁴ But ^(A)taking her by the hand he called, saying, “Child, ^(B)arise.”

⁴⁰ And they laughed at him. But he ^(A)put them all outside and took the child's father and mother and those who were with him and went in where the child was. ^41 (B)Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, ^(C)arise.” ⁴² And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.

³² When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. ³³ So he went in and ^(A)shut the door behind the two of them ^(B)and prayed to the Lord. ³⁴ Then he went up and lay on the child, putting his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. And as ^(C)he stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm. ³⁵ Then he got up again and walked once back and forth in the house, and went up ^(D)and stretched himself upon him. The child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. ³⁶ Then he summoned Gehazi and said, “Call this Shunammite.” So he called her. And when she came to him, he said, “Pick up your son.”

⁵ When our days there were ended, we departed and went on our journey, and they all, with wives and children, ^(A)accompanied us until we were outside the city. And ^(B)kneeling down on the beach, we prayed

³⁶ And when he had said these things, ^(A)he knelt down and prayed with them all.

⁴³ When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.” ^44 (A)The man who had died came out, ^(B)his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and ^(C)his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

⁴¹ And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and ^(A)knelt down and prayed,
