In Lystra and Derbe

⁸ In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth^(A) and had never walked.

²² For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old.

² Now a man who was lame from birth^(A) was being carried to the temple gate^(B) called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg^(C) from those going into the temple courts.

²¹ But how he can see now, or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. Ask him. He is of age; he will speak for himself.”

Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

9 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth.

⁵ One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years.

²¹ Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?”

“From childhood,” he answered.
