26 And (A)when he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples. And they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple. 27 But (B)Barnabas took him and (C)brought him to the apostles and declared to them (D)how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and (E)how at Damascus he had (F)preached boldly in the name of Jesus. 28 So he went (G)in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord. 29 And he spoke and disputed against (H)the Hellenists.[a] But (I)they were seeking to kill him. 30 And when (J)the brothers learned this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off (K)to Tarsus.
31 So (L)the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And (M)walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, (N)it multiplied.

Proverbs 12:19-28

19 Truthful lips endure forever,
but (A)a lying tongue is but for a moment.
20 Deceit is in the heart of (B)those who devise evil,
but those who plan peace have joy.
21 (C)No ill befalls the righteous,
but the wicked are filled with trouble.
22 (D)Lying lips are (E)an abomination to the Lord,
(F)but those who act faithfully are his delight.
23 (G)A prudent man conceals knowledge,
(H)but the heart of fools proclaims folly.
24 (I)The hand of the diligent will rule,
while the slothful will be (J)put to forced labor.
25 (K)Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down,
but a good word makes him glad.
26 One who is righteous is a guide to his neighbor,[a]
but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
27 (L)Whoever is slothful will not roast his game,
but the diligent man will get precious wealth.[b]
28 (M)In the path of righteousness is life,
and in its pathway there is no death.
