^26 (A)When he came to Jerusalem, he tried repeatedly to associate with the disciples; and yet they were all afraid of him, as they did not believe that he was a disciple. ²⁷ But ^(B)Barnabas took hold of him and brought him to the apostles and described to them how he had ^(C)seen the Lord on the road, and that He had talked to him, and how ^(D)he had ^(E)spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus at Damascus. ²⁸ And he was with them, ^[a]moving about freely in Jerusalem, ^(F)speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord. ²⁹ And he was talking and arguing with the ^[b](G)Hellenistic Jews; but they were attempting to put him to death. ³⁰ Now when ^(H)the ^[c]brothers learned of it, they brought him down to ^(I)Caesarea and ^(J)sent him away to ^(K)Tarsus.

¹⁵ But when ^[a]He who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and ^(A)called me through His grace was pleased ¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me so that I might ^(B)preach Him among the Gentiles, ^(C)I did not immediately consult with ^[b](D)flesh and blood, ^17 (E)nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to ^(F)Damascus.

¹⁸ Then ^(G)three years later I went up ^(H)to Jerusalem to ^[c]become acquainted with ^[d](I)Cephas, and stayed with him for fifteen days. ¹⁹ But I did not see another one of the apostles except ^[e](J)James, the Lord’s brother.
