²² But Saul increased all the more in strength, ^(A)and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.

^5 (A)When Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was ^(B)compelled ^[a]by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

¹⁵ for I will give you a mouth and wisdom ^(A)which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or ^[a]resist.

²⁷ But ^(A)God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

²⁷ And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, ^(A)he greatly helped those who had believed through grace; ²⁸ for he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, ^(B)showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.

²³ So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, ^(A)to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus ^(B)from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.

⁹ Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. ¹⁰ And ^(A)they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.

¹³ I can do all things ^(A)through ^[a]Christ who strengthens me.

³ explaining and demonstrating ^(A)that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ.”
