²² But Saul ^(A)increased all the more in strength, and ^(B)confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving ^(C)that Jesus was the Christ.

^5 (A)When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul ^(B)was occupied with the word, ^(C)testifying to the Jews that the Christ was ^(D)Jesus.

¹⁵ for ^(A)I will give you a mouth and ^(B)wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or ^(C)contradict.

²⁷ But ^(A)God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; ^(B)God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;

²⁷ And when he wished to cross to ^(A)Achaia, ^(B)the brothers encouraged him and ^(C)wrote to the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, ^(D)he greatly helped those who through grace had believed, ²⁸ for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, showing by the Scriptures ^(E)that the Christ was Jesus.

²³ When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening ^(A)he expounded to them, testifying to ^(B)the kingdom of God and ^(C)trying to convince them about Jesus ^(D)both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.

⁹ Then some of those who belonged to the synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called), and of the Cyrenians, and of the Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and disputed with Stephen. ¹⁰ But ^(A)they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking.

¹³ I can do all things ^(A)through him who strengthens me.

^3 (A)explaining and proving that it was necessary for ^(B)the Christ to suffer and ^(C)to rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”
