²⁰ And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, ^(A)“He is the Son of God.”

¹⁴ And ^(A)we have seen and testify that ^(B)the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of ^(C)the world. ^15 (D)Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

²³ They only were hearing it said, “He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.” ²⁴ And they glorified God because of me.

⁴ and ^(A)was declared to be the Son of God ^(B)in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

¹⁴ but they went on from Perga and came to Antioch in Pisidia. And ^(A)on the Sabbath day ^(B)they went into the synagogue and sat down.

⁵ When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God ^(A)in the synagogues of the Jews. And they had ^(B)John to ^(C)assist them.

²⁷ But ^(A)Barnabas took him and ^(B)brought him to the apostles and declared to them ^(C)how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and ^(D)how at Damascus he had ^(E)preached boldly in the name of Jesus. ²⁸ So he went ^(F)in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord.

²² But Saul ^(A)increased all the more in strength, and ^(B)confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving ^(C)that Jesus was the Christ.

³⁶ And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! ^(A)What prevents me from being baptized?”^[a]

^31 (A)but these are written so that you may ^(B)believe that Jesus is the Christ, ^(C)the Son of God, and that by believing ^(D)you may have life ^(E)in his name.
