14 Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of (A)Thyatira, who worshiped God. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, (A)“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

So they said to him, (C)“We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.”

And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?”

So they said, (D)“Into John’s baptism.”

Then Paul said, (E)“John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”

When they heard this, they were baptized (F)in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had (G)laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and (H)they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Now the men were about twelve in all.

Arise and be baptized, (H)and wash away your sins, (I)calling on the name of the Lord.’
