¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for ^(A)he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before ^(B)Gentiles, ^(C)kings, and the ^(D)children^[a] of Israel. ¹⁶ For ^(E)I will show him how many things he must suffer for My ^(F)name’s sake.”

^17 (G)And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and ^(H)laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord ^[b]Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and ^(I)be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

² As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ^(A)“Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work ^(B)to which I have called them.”

⁹ Then Saul, who also is called Paul, ^(A)filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him

¹³ For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as ^(A)I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

⁸ (for He who worked effectively in Peter for the apostleship to the ^(A)circumcised ^(B)also ^(C)worked effectively in me toward the Gentiles),

^11 (A)to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher ^[a]of the Gentiles.
