Therefore those who were scattered abroad went around preaching the word. Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and proclaimed to them the Christ. The multitudes listened with one accord to the things that were spoken by Philip when they heard and saw the signs which he did. For unclean spirits came out of many of those who had them. They came out, crying with a loud voice. Many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed. There was great joy in that city.

Philip Proclaims Christ in Samaria

Now those who had been scattered went about proclaiming the good news of the word. And Philip came down to the city of Samaria and[a] began proclaiming[b] the Christ[c] to them. And the crowds with one mind were paying attention to what was being said by Philip, as they heard him[d] and saw the signs that he was performing. For many of those who had unclean spirits, they were coming out of them,[e] crying out with a loud voice, and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.
