Philip in Samaria

⁴Therefore, those ^(A)who had been scattered went through places ^[a]^(B)preaching the word. ⁵^(C)Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began proclaiming the ^[b]Christ to them. ⁶The crowds were paying attention with one mind to what was being said by Philip, as they heard and saw the ^[c]signs which he was performing. ⁷For in the case of many who had ^(D)unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been ^(E)paralyzed or limped on crutches were healed. ⁸So there was ^(F)much rejoicing in that city.

Christ Is Preached in Samaria

⁴Therefore ^(A)those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. ⁵Then ^(B)Philip went down to ^[a]the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. ⁶And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. ⁷For ^(C)unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. ⁸And there was great joy in that city.
